Caramel Apple Trifle 

Ingredients:

  • 3 apples peeled and cubed
  • 1.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon brown caster sugar
  • 150 ml whipped cream
  • 100 grams of cream cheese
  • 60 grams of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 80 grams of granola
  • Caramel sauce or dulce de leche

Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the apples in it. Season with lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar. Heat this until the apples are done. Then let the cinnamon apples cool.
  • Beat the whipped cream together with the sugar and 1.5 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Stir the cream cheese and mix it with the whipped cream and vanilla. Place the mixture in a plastic bag or piping bag so that you can pipe the whipped cream mixture into the glasses later.
  • Mix the granola with a teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Divide a tablespoon of the whipped cream mixture over the glasses, then spread a layer of the granola on top, then the caramel sauce and then the apples. And repeat these layers one more time.
  • Serve the apple trifle with caramel immediately or store this delicious dessert covered in the refrigerator.
